Description

In this kit you can make a stylish Woodpecker design, embroidered in 4 Metalwork techniques over layers of craft felt.

The Woodpecker has Silver, Black and Pewter metal threads worked in a variety of stitches including Couching, Or Nue (couching with a colour) and Cutwork, all traditional skills in this beautiful style of embroidery. The embroidery is then finished off with a piece of wood veneer on which the Woodpecker is perched!

Clear illustrated instructions will guide you through this hand embroidery project, which once completed can be mounted and hung in the little wooden hoop provided.

The finished bird embroidery measures approximately 9x5cm, and the wooden hoop is 11cm diameter.

All the kits are designed by Becky Hogg Embroidery and produced in the U.K.

Suitable for all levels of ability but not suitable for children.
